lemon Girl Scout cookies LOUISVILLE, Ky. – February 28, 2010 — They promise to entice the senses with a “hint of cinnamon-ginger spice” and a “refreshingly zesty lemon creme filling,” but some batches of Lemon Chalet Creme Girl Scout cookies didn’t quite turn out that way. A Kentucky bakery that makes the cookies pulled some batches Thursday after about a dozen people complained of a foul smell and taste.

Prudential AIA’s management and bankers have been working towards an initial public offering of shares in the Asian arm of crippled US insurer AIG for almost a year, but then something changed just a few weeks ago. AIG’s board and its owners, essentially the New York Federal Reserve, became suddenly more concerned about whether a trade sale would provide greater certainty and speed of execution than the planned listing, in spite of the confidence of the banks leading the IPO preparations that they were well on track.

LG’s Windows Phone 7 Series phone Aaron Woodman, the director of consumer experiences for Microsoft’s mobile division, showed off a prototype of LG’s Windows Phone 7 Series phone over at Engadget. Wayne Rooney Wayne Rooney was the Carling Cup final head boy as Manchester United came from behind to retain a knockout competition for the first time with a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. After starting as a substitute, Rooney was only on the pitch because of an injury to Michael Owen, who had levelled James Milner’s fourth-minute penalty. He was not going to let that inconvenience stop him becoming the Wembley match-winner against Villa though and 16 minutes from time, Rooney got on the end of Antonio Valencia’s cross and looped home yet another headed goal – his fifth in a row – to take his goal tally for the season to 28 and allow United to retain the trophy after a thrilling Wembley encounter Sir Alex Ferguson feared was not possible

nfl combine 2010 results West Virginia quarterback Jarrett Brown told the media that no other quarterback could out-throw him at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier in the week and thus far, he has been correct. With so many eyes on Cincinnati quarterback Tony Pike, Brown has been the impressive one so far in the various throwing drills in Indianapolis. Brown’s measurements have him standing at 6′2.875″ and 224 pounds which is a very good for the current “standard” for NFL quarterbacks.
