Kourtney Kardashian opened up on Wednesday about a recent experience where she had to undergo “critical fetal surgery” to safeguard the life of her unborn child. In her heartfelt message, she expressed her gratitude towards the medical team that attended to her and her husband, Travis Barker, who made the sudden decision to leave the Blink-182 tour last week to be by her side.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Kardashian, who has previously had three uncomplicated pregnancies, revealed her unanticipated fear in the face of this urgent medical intervention. She emphasized that those who haven’t gone through a similar ordeal might find it difficult to comprehend the profound fear she felt.
Kardashian went on to express her everlasting appreciation for the exceptional doctors who played a crucial role in preserving her baby’s life. She also conveyed her deep gratitude to her husband, Travis Barker, for swiftly coming to her side from the tour and providing unwavering support during her hospitalization – referring to him as her rock. Additionally, she thanked her mother for being there for her throughout the challenging experience.
Notably, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are expecting their first child together, while Kardashian already has three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick.
In response to Barker’s abrupt departure, Blink-182 postponed several upcoming shows last Friday, citing an “urgent family matter” in their statement at the time. However, Barker revealed on Wednesday that the tour will resume this Friday. Just hours before the group’s announcement about the show postponements, Barker had asked fans for their prayers and shared photos from a prayer room on his Instagram story.
